More about Marmite

Meet Marmite. Our sweet and sensitive Presa Cross.

Marmite arrived at Battersea as a stray, so we sadly have no history on her or how she is in a home.

She is a loving and affectionate girl who does have a worried side and can come across a little shy. But she warms up to people quickly and once bonded loves nothing more to sit with her humans and enjoy a gentle fuss.

She is looking for less experienced owners who have some knowledge of guarding breeds and who are willing to continue with her basic training in order to set her up for success in her new home.

Marmite likes other dogs and has some nice social skills in place, therefore she could live with another dog that is the right match for her, a tolerant and confident dog that will offer play but will also take breaks. We don't have a history on Marmite so don't know if she has ever lived with cats, but we have not seen any chase behaviour onsite, so she could possibly live with a dog savvy cat with careful introductions.

Marmite is looking for a new home away from the inner city with access to her own private garden. She is a wonderful and loving girl, but due to her worried nature, is best suited to an adults only household who can be involved with her daily training.

Marmite really is a delight and has won everyone over with her gentle and sweet nature. She will no doubt be the most loyal and loving of companions in the home.

If you have already completed our online rehoming form and would like to know more about Marmite, you can e-mail our rehoming team on rehoming@battersea.org.uk to register your interest.

We ask every customer to first complete our online form before we discuss an individual dog, so if you have not filled in our form yet you can find the details on how to do so here https://www.battersea.org.uk/rehome/dogs

Please be aware that we have a large amount of interest in rehoming our animals, so we are only able to contact those that are a match for the dog in question.
