More about Mavis

Mavis is a sensitive Patterdale Terrier cross based at Battersea Old Windsor who is looking for a quiet home where she can settle in at her own pace.

Mavis is a worried dog who is looking for supportive and patient new owners who can help her flourish into a more confident dog in time. She can be worried of new people and does better when people are calm and quiet around her.

She is looking to be the only dog in her new home as she can be nervous around them. She has been able to walk with calmer dogs who are independent around her but doesn’t appreciate larger, animated dogs bouncing over to her.

Mavis has shown to enjoy her meals and feeding her tasty treats will be a great way to build a bond with her.

Mavis is looking for a home with a private and secure garden in a quiet location. She will need this safe, secure area to build a bond with her new owners and this area can be utilised to help with house training.
