More about Maymay
Meet Maymay our beautiful Husky.
Maymay was previously rehomed and unfortunately returned. Maymay is a very loving girl & affectionate girl but has struggled with settling on her own. However we have found methods and comforts here at Battersea which can help support new owners when introducing her into a home.
Maymay is a lovely older Husky girl who is looking for experienced owners who have a good understanding & knowledge of breed traits and experience with training. Although she has shown some elements of sociability around dogs and can make friends nicely on her terms, she has also shown conflicting behaviours where she will approach but be quick to tell off. This has been explored during both of her stays and Battersea and will requires owner who have knowledge and experience with similar dogs, to ensure she can meet and greet dogs with approaches that are positive and suited to her.
Despite finding kennel life very stressful, Maymay continues to be incredibly sweet with most people she meets and makes human friends very easily, though she has shown a worried side around a minority of unknown people. However with a little snack and toy play she warms up very quickly!
A typical husky, she is clever, funny and cheeky. She loves to splash in paddling pools especially during the warmer weathers which is always joyful to see. She is a joy to walk and really enjoys getting out and about and she would love a new home where she can go on adventures and daily walks with her new family. Maymay is a very special, sweet and happy soul who loves life. She would love a new family and a comfy sofa to call her own. She is sure to make the most wonderful, loyal, loving and fun companion.
Maymay is looking for committed owners in a quiet location and will need access to a very secure private garden. She will need more than one carer to manage some separation anxiety and would be best suited to a home without any children or other pets,
