More about MIA
Meet our lovely Mia!
Mia came to us through no fault of her own, being found by the local council and coming to us via their dog warden.
She was reportedly a delight, a little nervous when she first arrived, however she was excitable and friendly with her known people, relaxed around food toys and handling.
Since arriving with us she has been pretty reflective of the behaviour in her brief history. She has been a little wary with new people, and was quite worried when a known person became more animated around her. However, since then, she has been nothing but a cuddle bug who just craves love and affection!
With dogs she can have friendly greets with dogs, she does have a slightly intolerant side where she can give controlled tell off's to dogs that are being to over the top around her. For these reasons, feel she is best suited to being the only dog in her new home.
Mia is looking for her new forever home, a home that has experience with either large or worried dogs or both. A family who is active that will enjoy going on long walks with Mia by their side as much as they would enjoy giving her all the fusses she needs. New owners should be fully prepared to take on a dog of Mia's size and strength and the responsibility of training and socialising her.
She is an energetic girl with the heart of an angel and a sensitive side to her soul, the way to this pretty girls heart is to go slow and come bearing gifts, preferably edible ones!
