More about Miso

Miso is a gentle and loving Standard Wire Haired Dachshund who is based as Battersea Old Windsor.

We believe that Miso hasn’t been exposed to much in his life and he is looking for patient new owners that can take things at his pace.

Miso has been friendly around other dogs and we feel he could possibly live with a calmer, steady dog that could be a nice companion for him.

Miso could also live with a confident cat that has been around dogs before as we haven’t seen any chase behaviours from him.

Due to his breed, he would enjoy going on steady walks but would not be suited to longer hikes. New owners should do some research into Dachshunds if they are not familiar with their breed traits.

Miso can be a little shy meeting new people and we would advise new owners to let him come to them at his own pace, using treats is a great way to build a bond.

Currently Miso hasn’t shown much interest in toys but we have occasionally spotted him running after a tennis ball!
