More about Mocha

Mocha is a gentle and sensitive Cocker Spaniel who is based at our Old Windsor Centre.

We have no history for Mocha and what she has previously experienced before coming into us. During her time here she has shown to have a worried side and gets a lot of reassurance from her known handlers.

She will need ongoing training to help build positive experiences in new environments and when meeting new people. She will be looking for new owners who can take a patient approach to her care and allow Mocha to build her confidence at her own pace.

Once Mocha has made friends with you, you will start to see her come out of her shell and her more affectionate side will start to show. Mocha enjoys sitting next to you and will seek out interaction as she enjoys having a gentle fuss.

Mocha will be looking to be the only dog in the household as she doesn’t gain much from interacting with other dogs, she much prefers her own company and is happy to say hello before going off to do her own thing. Mocha is also worried by dogs who are overly playful or over the top with their playstyle. To help build her confidence, she would benefit having calm steady friends that she can go for walks with.

Mocha is a real foodie, she will never turn her nose up a treat and happily take treats of any value when offered to her. As she is so food motivated, this can be used as a tool to help with her ongoing training.
