More about Moose

Moose is an affectionate American Bulldog cross who enjoys sniffing around the paddocks and exploring here at Battersea Old Windsor.

Moose is a big dog, weighing around 35kg and is currently learning how to walk on a lead properly. He is very strong on the lead initially but has been making great progress with his walking. He is looking for owners that are comfortable walking a dog that pulls on the lead.

Moose is looking to be the only dog in his new home as he is currently working on his social skills and he struggles to settle when around them. He wants to greet all dogs and is learning to pass them without meeting every one. This will be a work in progress for his new owners and we would recommend keeping him socialised with other dogs on walks.

He enjoys his food and using food toys for meals such as kongs and destruction boxes. Using enrichment for this will help keep Moose’s mind stimulated and food will be a great tool for any future training.

Moose is a charming dog looking for owners that are able to manage a strong dog and willing to take on a project and be prepared for ongoing training.
