Meet our handsome Collie boy Mylo.
This chap is looking for a new family who have Collie experience and understanding to ensure he can have the appropriate training which is best suited to him. He is looking for a quiet home where he can settle his paws and have strolls outside where he can sniff as he loves to do this!
Mylo has shown to be worried on return to his kennel and is a little sensitive with this when his surroundings are noisy, and would therefore highly benefit from having his own private garden where he can gain confidence at his own pace.
Mylo's previous owners reported that he could be worried of some dogs on walks and would sometimes growl when other dogs charged up to him on walks, however was be polite and friendly when the other dogs respect his space. Onsite he has shown be generally quite a sociable, well mannered chap and he would therefore appreciate a walking buddy where he can continue to meet dogs and have calm interactions with them.
Mylo is a sweet boy who enjoys playing with his toys and human company. He will enjoy being in a home where he can have some toy play but also a comfy bed where he can rest his toes! He could potentially live sensible teens that can be a part of his training.

Rehoming FAQs
Here at Battersea, we assess all of our dogs individually and create a rehoming profile for them. To ensure successful matches between people and pets, we use a combination of extensive rehoming experience, our staff expertise and the information you provided in your rehoming form. Once you complete your online registration, you’ll receive a confirmation email to let you know that we have everything we need to begin our matchmaking process, as well as the next steps of the process.
This may not always be the dog you thought it would be, which is why we ask that you see the registration form as a way of registering your interest in rehoming, not an application for a specific animal. We’re experts in making sure we find the right home for our dogs and the right dog for your home.

Once you’ve completed our online registration form, we’ll handle the rest. Your rehoming registration will be open for up to three months, and in that time, we’ll do our very best to try and match you with a pet that best suits you and your lifestyle. It can take a bit of time for us to try and match you with a pet – but we promise it’s time well spent. We’re committed to getting to know every animal at our centres before finding a match that works for our dogs and for you wherever possible.
If we are not able to match you with a dog within three months, we’ll let you know and offer guidance to help you continue your search, either at Battersea or beyond.

Our rehoming fee is £230 for dogs (over six months), £350 for a pair of dogs, or £275 for puppies (under six months). We accept cash or debit/credit card as payment (we are unable to accept cheques). Included in this cost are the following:
- Microchipping
- Initial vaccinations, flea and worming treatment
- Neutering
- A collar, identification tag and lead
- Starter pack of food, advice and special offers
- Four weeks’ free Petplan insurance as your dog settles into their new surroundings
Something to bear in mind is that our rehoming fee is just the beginning of the costs involved with owning a dog. We would recommend that before making the decision to rehome, you investigate the costs of pet food, pet insurance, grooming and fees at your local veterinary centre so that you are fully prepared for the financial implications of bringing a dog into your home.
