More about Ozzy

Ozzy is our sweet baby Boxer who came into our care through no fault of his own. He was a much loved member of his previous family and has some good basic training in place already. He loves to be outdoors, zooming around, playing with toys and having his cuddles from his favourite people.

Ozzy is a young and energetic boy who can forget his size and true to his breed, is a big bouncy ball of fun! He has a sensitive side and can find busier areas or novel objects overwhelming and worrying, so he will need to live in a quieter location with access to natural and quieter walking routes. Ozzy did previously live with another dog and we feel he could do so again, but this dog will need to be a tolerant and robust older role model who is environmentally confident and chilled out, to benefit Ozzy. Ozzy will need ongoing basic training and some house training reminders in his new home.

As he was not left alone in his previous home, Ozzy's new owners will need to have capacity to be around for him at home for the majority of the time to begin with, slowly building up the time he is left alone in a positive manner. His new owners should be active and able to take him for adequate walks everyday and he will need a private garden as a safe space to burn off.

If you have already completed our online rehoming form and would like to know more about Ozzy you can e-mail our rehoming team on bbh.rehomers@battersea.org.uk to register your interest.

We ask every customer to first complete our online form before we discuss an individual animal, so if you have not filled in our form yet you can find the details on how to do so here (https://www.battersea.org.uk/rehoming).

Please be aware that we have a large amount of interest in rehoming our animals, so we are only able to contact those that are a match for the dog you have contacted us about.
