More about Pandora

Pandora is a lovable Lurcher here at Battersea Old Windsor. She is a sensitive soul and is looking for encouraging and patient new owners so she can slowly come out of her shell in her new home.

She has found settling into us very worrying and struggles exploring the outside world. Pandora is looking for her new home to be in a quiet area with a private secure garden. This will allow her to take her time, build her confidence and utilise the garden as a safe space while getting used to her new environment.

Pandora has shown to slowly warm up to her handlers but this has taken some time to build bonds. We feel taking a slow approach and allowing Pandora to socialise in her own time will be best to continue making friends and not put her in any worrying situations. She needs to live without any children while she takes her time to build bonds with her new owners.

She has also been worried and shut down when being introduced to other dogs. She has shown moments of warming up around a calm and polite dog who provided her space. While she is building up her socialisation with other dogs, Pandora is looking to be the only pet in the household.
