More about Parker
Parker is a bold puppy looking for a home with owners who have a good understanding of youngsters and all of their foibles. He is based at our Old Windsor centre.
Don't be fooled by Parker's current small size - he has more than enough personality and charisma and will keep his new owners on their toes. He is a typical young puppy - playful, inquisitive, affectionate at times, but he also struggles to keep calm and this leads to him nipping quite heavily. He can show this when he is getting too playful, bored or frustrated but he is a clever chap and is picking up the training we have put in place to help him moderate his behaviour.
We have found that with another dog, Parker is a little calmer and more confident of his surroundings. In order to help him, he needs to live in a home with an existing dog who will be a tolerant and gentle playmate for him. Any dog he lives with will need to be the right match for both him and them, so this decision will be pending a successful introduction here at Old Windsor.
Parker has lots of wonderful, fun traits too - he loves his toys, enjoys a fuss when he is calm and settles well at night time. He is used to travelling in a car and was showing signs of picking up housetraining, but this will need some reminders in his new home.
He's had a fair amount of change recently and so needs to find his dedicated, permanent home. He will benefit from owners who have previous experience of adolescent dogs, especially Bull Breeds, and in return he'll bring lots of laughter and joy once he has settled in.
