Meet our Perfect Peggy!!

Peggy came to Battersea after being picked up as a stray, so we sadly have no information on her first 2 years of life or what she will be like in a home. When Peggy first arrived she was a very worried girly of both dogs and people but showed to have a very sweet and gentle nature, just wanting to be friends.

She arrived with a good grasp of her basics, having excellent 'sit', 'paw' and 'down' cues as well as excellent handler focus and lead walking skills.

Peggy is beginning to show her true personality as she gains confidence, she loves some gentle hands on and just wants to sit next to you when she can. She is so very polite when greeting, hasn't jumped up or been overly bouncy and has become a firm favourite with her care group.

Peggy will be the perfect dog for owners with some dog experience who are prepared to be patient and allow her the time she may need to settle in. She would prefer to live away from the hustle and bustle of inner city life, in a calm and quiet household due to being sound sensitive. She is looking for a new home with a private garden, a single carer or a family with teenagers who are able to read her body language and not be to boisterous around her.
