More about Percy

Percy is a fun and excitable Porcelaine Hound based at our Old Windsor site.

He is an affectionate puppy that adores soft toys and woodland walks. He will grow up to be a large dog that will be a typical Hound that follows his nose. He will benefit from scent games and food toys to keep his brain busy and we'd suggest his owners are familiar with Hound breed traits as they can be quite unique in their training needs and behaviours.

He may be able to live with dogs that will be a good role model for him as he develops into an adult. He will need to be introduced to new places and sights to help build his confidence, and would benefit from going to puppy classes.

Being an active breed, he will need a secure garden where he can burn off energy. In his previous home, Percy was very friendly and loving with people, had the beginnings of housetraining though this will need continued work as he settles. Percy is vocal when he is left on his own so is looking for a consistent home with owners who are around to give him the time he needs to settle and to very gradually build up the amount of time he is left alone for.
