More about Petal

Delicate little Petal is a young Cane Corso puppy who came to us very under socialised. When Petal first arrived, she was very scared and shut down and would lay on her bed and tremble, not wanting to move from this safe space. She spent a few days learning to trust us and making friends with consistent handlers, who quickly found that offering her toys and engaging in gentle light hearted games was the key to her building bonds and coming out of her shell. Petal is now doing so well, exploring our paddocks and making friends with new people day by day.

She is looking for owners who have the time and patience to invest in her training and socialisation from the start, as she will grow into a large and powerful dog. Petal could potentially live with another neutered dog, pending intros at our Brands Hatch site. Due to the worry she has shown, Bramble would prefer to live with children teenage years and above, who can understand the need to take things slowly with her and respect her space. She will need a private garden for her house training and recall training and we'd strongly advise her new owners keep things calm and quiet for the first couple of weeks, allowing her to spend time in her garden and house so that she feels safe, rather than try to take her to lots of new places.
