Meet our beautiful, sassy little Rainbow!

We believe Rainbow to be a Jack Russell Terrier cross Chihuahua, who was brought in to our London site after being removed from an unsuitable situation by the police. Rainbow has now recovered nicely from a few burns on her skin, and although she has had a really tough start in life, she hasn't let it get her down and she is ready to face the big world with new loving owners.

Rainbow is very smart and a sweet and friendly girl, and although tiny, she has a big personality! She has also shown herself to very resilient - a proper tough little cookie. She loves playing tug and charging around with her toys, and is already quite independent for one so young.

She will need new owners willing to put in a little work to ensure she grows into the happy, sociable and well-balanced young lady we know she can be. She can be a little uncomfortable with too much handling, due to having been very sore around her back and tail areas for a while. Although this is now improving, she will need owners to have a fairly hands-off approach to begin with, and to continue the work we have done with her, helping her become accustomed to cuddles gradually and on her own terms. She is looking for an adult-only home, ideally with her own secure garden.

Rainbow is very bright, active and full of beans, and the Terrier in her shines bright! She loves nothing better than a good play, and while very small, she has an impressive play growl. New owners will need to commit to her puppy training as she grows, in order to best set her up for success. She'll need a solid routine, with structured naps and constructive play time built in. She is very food-driven, which will be helpful with her training - as long as owners watch out for her waistline!

Rainbow is a sassy, confident little lady who eagerly seeks out attention and play from anyone and everyone, and is always very excited to see her favourite people. She has an affectionate but independent nature, and is sure to grow into a perfect little companion in the right hands.
