More about Raye
Raye is a gentle dog who needs a little time and patience to feel safe in a new environment, but once she trusts you, her affectionate nature shines through. Raye is based at our Old Windsor Centre.
She has been worried about handling in the past, so she’ll benefit from a calm, understanding home that lets her build confidence at her own pace. Living in a home and being the centre of attention will be a new experience, patience will be key to allow her to adjust at her own pace.
When she bonds, she becomes a wonderfully loyal friend, bouncy, excited to see you and eager to climb into your lap for fuss when you sit on the floor with her.
Raye is looking for a home where she will be the only dog, Raye is worried of other dogs and finds socialising very overwhelming. It’s important for her to build on making friends but it will need to be done at her speed, she might always be a dog that prefers her family or just a couple doggy friends and quiet walking routes.
A peaceful home with her own private garden to relax and maybe even learn how to play with toys will be ideal for Raye.
Raye’s sweet, tender personality makes her incredibly rewarding to get to know, and she will thrive with someone who can offer reassurance, consistency, and gentle encouragement.
