More about Rolo

Rolo is a charming and cheeky Terrier cross, as you can see from his photos, his name fits him very well. He is based at our Old Windsor centre.

Rolo is full of energy and enjoys exploring and zooming around his favourite locations. He will need plenty of exercise and activities involving food and toys to keep his brain busy. His favourite toys are tennis balls, and he likes to let you know when he wants one to be thrown for him.

He is a vocal dog, towards new people this shows mainly as demand barking or frustration. He uses his voice in many different circumstances including during play, greeting his dog friends and wanting attention from his favourite people.

Due to Rolo's lively nature, he is looking for active owners who are familiar with the Terrier traits to help manage this behaviour. We also feel that he will benefit from having a private and secure garden to provide him his own space to burn off his energy, continue his training and help him settle into his new home.

Rolo is a typical Terrier and has shown some chase drive in his previous history and during his time with us.
He is excitable and playful with other dogs. He can also be a bit boisterous and vocal with his playstyle. Rolo will need ongoing training around socialisation and calm behaviours; due to this he is looking to be the only pet in the household.

New owners should look forward to Rolo’s fun-loving and enthusiastic personality to shine through as he settles into his new home.
