More about Roly-Poly Rocco

Meet Roly-Poly Rocco, our squishy old man Bulldog! The handsome, tri-colour dreamboat will make an easy going companion in almost any home - perfect for those looking for a dog who will snooze while they work from home, an older person looking for a canine companion, or a family looking for their first dog.

Rocco is looking for a cosy retirement home where he can snooze his days away on the sofa. He is very sociable and loves spending time around people but does have a good history of being left home alone for a few hours; once he has settled in he would likely cope well spending short periods on his own. Rocco has spent time in a foster home with one of our staff members and can often be found snoozing in the garden in the sun, or dreaming on the chaise lounge! He could potentially live with older children, pending intros at our Brands Hatch centre.

As an older boy he doesn't have the best stamina but he does enjoy going on short walks to stretch his legs and walks very calmly on lead. He has shown some uncertainty around other dogs at times, but is happy to have quick on lead greets and then move on. Rocco will hugely benefit from walking on lead him in residential or quieter areas where he is unlikely to come across off lead dogs. Rocco would love a secure garden that it easy for him to access for toilet breaks, and also for that all important sunbathing in the summer months!

If you have already completed our online rehoming form and would like to know more about Rocco, you can e-mail our rehoming team on bbh.rehomers@battersea.org.uk to register your interest.

We ask every customer to first complete our online form before we discuss an individual animal, so if you have not filled in our form yet you can find the details on how to do so here https://www.battersea.org.uk/rehoming

Please be aware that we have a large amount of interest in rehoming our animals, so we are only able to contact those that are a match for the dog you have contacted us about.
