More about Rosie

Meet our beautiful pair, Rosie and Maizie.

The girls arrived to Battersea with some fellow canine friends from the same home. Rosie is a timid and sensitive girl who has shown a lot of progress and potential during her stay with us.
Rosie has very little experience with the outside world and with a gentle and gradual exposure with her humans here at Battersea, she has shown to gain some self esteem each day.

She is looking for owners who are willing to help teach and guide her to learn the ropes and feel at ease taking it one paw at a time.
Rosie will no doubt bloom in her new quiet home where she can snuggle into her owners and have some company.

She has shown some basic social skills with other dogs and people, however she will need ongoing training in the home to help her make new friends and come away if she is uncomfortable. Due to how much confidence and comfort she gets from her fellow companions, Rosie needs to live with a another steady role model dog or potentially another dog she arrived with.

Rosie has had some additional support from her team onsite, to help be familiar with walking equipment as she has little experience with this. Overall, her new owners will need to be patient and willing to help her build the confidence that she needs as she embarks her newest chapter.

We are confident once she has settled into her loving home, she will flourish and will be the most satisfying thing to witness, her coming out of her shell.
