More about Roxy

Roxy is a loveable and sensitive Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross who is looking for a quiet home with patient new owners. She is based at Battersea Old Windsor.

Roxy can be worried by new people and they can make her feel unsure, sudden movements or loud noises can also startle her. Because of this, she will need patient new owners who are willing to give her the time and space she needs to build trust at her own pace.

She may benefit from living with another confident dog of a similar size who can help show her the ropes and boost her confidence in everyday situations. She can find some dogs worrying, especially if they are are too playful or over the top so would suit living with a calmer dog.

Roxy enjoys enrichment activities, especially when food is involved, as they help keep her mind busy and build her confidence in a positive way. She also loves playing with her tennis balls and will happily enjoy some gentle playtime with someone she trusts.

Roxy is looking for a home with her own private and secure garden so she can utilise this safe space to build a bond with new owners and allow to have safe, secure off lead time.
