More about Sadie
Sadie is a loving, gentle girl who gives the best cuddles and adores spending time with her people. She’s friendly and has a sweet, good-natured personality. She has been brought into our care due to no fault of her own and has already stolen hearts of staff here caring for her.
Sadie came to us from another rescue, but we do have some history from her previous life, where she was a friendly girl with everyone but had some limited exposure in more recent months.
Since being in our care, Sadie has been very stressed and is struggling to cope both in and out of the kennel. She is often very vocal for attention both out on walks and has needed consistent training around her reactivity which is still a work-in-progress, new owners must be confident to continue training in her new home and to manage a reactive dog. However, she is a good-natured dog who gives the best cuddles and just wants to be in the company of her people.
She has also shown some sensitivities when meeting new people, while most of the time she is very friendly and affectionate. She has had on a couple of occasions onsite when in busier environments, particularly busier office spaces, of being quite worried and reactive, so new owners should also be understanding of her easily trigger stacked, sensitive side.
Sadie has shown that she is happiest in the company of her people, where she gives the best hugs and trust falls into staff's arms! Sadie will thrive in a quieter home with experienced owners. She'll need her own private garden and to be the only animal in the home so all the attention is on her!
Sadie has an unbelievable amount of love to give and will for sure, make the cuddliest lap dog!
