Say hello to the beautiful girl, Sienna!

Sienna is an American Bulldog cross who was found as a stray so we have no history on her life prior to coming into Battersea.

Sienna comes across as a pretty timid girly, quite shy at first, but does warm up to people fairly quickly. Once she is bonded she shows off her cracking personality and loves receiving as much fuss as she can! Due to her worried side, she will be looking for owners who have experience with nervous dogs and are able to recognise and read her body language when she is unsure and are willing to be patient whilst she transitions into their home.

Due to having no background information, we don't know whether she has spent any time in a home environment. New owners would need to be an adult only household that has a good understanding of basic training and what best approach suits her to teach her some life skills as well as building confidence. A quite location and her own private garden would be beneficial to helping her build up this confidence at her own pace.

Once Sienna settles into her new home, we are confident that she will make any house a complete home.

Rehoming FAQs

Here at Battersea, we assess all of our dogs individually and create a rehoming profile for them. To ensure successful matches between people and pets, we use a combination of extensive rehoming experience, our staff expertise and the information you provided in your rehoming form. Once you complete your online registration, you’ll receive a confirmation email to let you know that we have everything we need to begin our matchmaking process, as well as the next steps of the process.

This may not always be the dog you thought it would be, which is why we ask that you see the registration form as a way of registering your interest in rehoming, not an application for a specific animal. We’re experts in making sure we find the right home for our dogs and the right dog for your home.

Once you’ve completed our online registration form, we’ll handle the rest.  Your rehoming registration will be open for up to three months, and in that time, we’ll do our very best to try and match you with a pet that best suits you and your lifestyle. It can take a bit of time for us to try and match you with a pet – but we promise it’s time well spent. We’re committed to getting to know every animal at our centres before finding a match that works for our dogs and for you wherever possible.

If we are not able to match you with a dog within three months, we’ll let you know and offer guidance to help you continue your search, either at Battersea or beyond.

Our rehoming fee is £230 for dogs (over six months), £350 for a pair of dogs, or £275 for puppies (under six months). We accept cash or debit/credit card as payment (we are unable to accept cheques). Included in this cost are the following:

  • Microchipping
  • Initial vaccinations, flea and worming treatment
  • Neutering
  • A collar, identification tag and lead
  • Starter pack of food, advice and special offers
  • Four weeks’ free Petplan insurance as your dog settles into their new surroundings


Something to bear in mind is that our rehoming fee is just the beginning of the costs involved with owning a dog. We would recommend that before making the decision to rehome, you investigate the costs of pet food, pet insurance, grooming and fees at your local veterinary centre so that you are fully prepared for the financial implications of bringing a dog into your home.
