Meet our big bouncy Storm!

This majestic young lady came to Battersea due to a change in her owners' circumstances that meant they were no longer able to give her the time and care she needed. Storm is looking for a family who enjoy training and have quite an active lifestyle as she really enjoys walks in nature. She has struggled to settle into kennel life at Battersea, but absolutely loves green spaces, which calm her and help her become more responsive to her training, so would love to live in a location with a lot of greenery around. She is looking for experienced owners able to manage her size and strength and can read her body language well and offer the right guidance, especially at this crucial stage in her development.

Storm has shown a variety of behaviours towards other dogs. She is a bit under-socialised, but when paired with the right sort of role model dog, she really gains confidence and offers some nice social behaviours. Storm can be vocal when on lead, however she is quite keen to meet other dogs and will need some input from her new owners to help her improve her meeting and greeting skills, as some doggy friends may not appreciate her volume! With the right approach, and with owners committed to helping her practice her manners, she will enjoy making new canine connections and learn the ropes of doggy etiquette.

Storm can be quite strong on lead, but wears her harness beautifully. She picks up training very well, as she loves nothing more than to please her handler. She will be a great addition to any home willing to continue the work with her and will provide her new family with canine cuddles as well as some fun playtime outside.
