More about Tank

Tank is a friendly and exuberant boy with a wonderful personality who loves being around people. As a large, strong breed, he is looking for new owners who are confident and experienced with bull breeds, and who can provide calm, consistent guidance as he continues to mature. Tank is currently based at Battersea Old Windsor.

While Tank enjoys spending time with other dogs, he can become overly enthusiastic when interacting with his dog friends and often struggles to know when he is being too much and when to take a break from play. Tank would be best suited to being the only dog in the home while he continues working on his social skills and calmer behaviours around other dogs

One of Tank's favourite activities is spending time in the pool. He absolutely loves the water and can often be found happily bobbing for treats or retrieving tennis balls. He has plenty of energy and enthusiasm for life, he particularly enjoys walks where he has the chance to sniff and explore his surroundings. He would benefit from active owners who can provide him with regular exercise and opportunities to explore the world around him.

Tank would benefit from having access to a secure, private garden in his new home. This would provide him with a safe space to stretch his legs away from distractions as he shown a strong interest in cats and wildlife and can be keen to chase if given the opportunity

Tank can become excited at times and may occasionally show some over-the-top behaviours when in new situations or when he gets overexcited which can lead to him jumping up and mouthing. He will benefit from clear boundaries and structure from the outset. He is still very young and has lots to learn and will thrive with new owners who are committed to his ongoing training and positive reinforcement.
