Meet our lovely Beagle boy, Ted!

Ted came to Battersea after a difficult start to life and initially found the world a very overwhelming place. New people, places, and dogs were all a lot for him to take in. Since spending time on foster, however, Ted has made fantastic progress and is slowly blossoming into a more confident, curious boy.

Ted has been gradually introduced to busier walking routes and now really enjoys his adventures. The big park that once felt scary is now one of his favourite places, where he loves watching the world go by and meeting other dogs. These positive experiences have helped him grow in confidence day by day.

Ted is looking for a calm home away from the hustle and bustle, with direct access to a secure private garden where he can continue exploring at his own pace. He could live with older, dog-savvy teens and would benefit from patient, understanding owners who can support his ongoing confidence building. Once he trusts you, Ted shows his affectionate, gentle side and enjoys quiet fuss and tasty treats.

Ted is a sensitive soul with so much love to give, and he’ll make a wonderful companion for a family who can give him the reassurance and time he needs to settle!
