More about Teddy

Meet our lovely Cockapoo Teddy!

Teddy arrived at Battersea a stray however we were able to gain some information about him from a previous owner. In his most recent household he shared his space with an adult and two young children. Teddy was said to be a lovely boy who got on very well with the children. He has shown some signs of resource guarding and will need a new home who can manage this behaviour and read his body language appropriately.

Onsite we have seen a friendly boy who has been a little sensitive and worried at times. However he is slowly settling in and coming out of his shell and is showing off his excitable and affectionate nature.

Teddy likes other dogs and has some lovely social skills in place being a friendly and playful boy. He can be a little worried of larger bouncy dogs but can still greet fluid and friendly. We feel Teddy would prefer to be the only dog in the home, to get all the love and attention for himself.

Teddy is ready for a new chapter in his life and a stable and loving home to call his own! He would love to live away from the inner city in a multi-carer household and have access to his own garden. He can live with teens 13+. He is an active boy and will need new owners who can provide him with plenty of mental and physical stimulation.

Teddy is a sweet boy and is sure to bring much joy to the right household lucky enough to have him.

If you think Teddy could be the one for you, please reach out to our rehoming team at rehoming@battersea.org.uk after registering on the Battersea website: https://www.battersea.org.uk/rehoming

Please note due to volume of enquiries we may have at any time, we will only look to contact homes that we feel best meet all of his needs.
