More about Terry

Terry has been a favourite with staff here Battersea Old Windsor, charming everyone he meets.

Terry has a cheeky personality especially when it comes to his one true love; food. He will use his nose to seek out any treats or his dreams of finding something tastier. New owners will need to make sure any potential snacks will be out of reach in a new home.

Terry’s food drive is very useful when it comes to training as Terry is deaf, using his favourite snacks and hand signals will be a great way to start off his training and building bonds in a new home.

He could potentially live with another dog in the home, Terry is relaxed around dogs and prefers calmer friends that will respect his space rather than a play mate.

He has cheeky personality and really enjoyed spending time with staff but we have seen a worried side at times and Terry has become overwhelmed and needing some support when out walking. Due to this Terry is looking for owners that can build his confidence slowly in his walking routes, a quieter area with less footfall and traffic would be the best fit.

Any potential new owner will need to talk to a Battersea Vet before rehoming Terry. Terry has had clinical treatment during his stay and new owners will need to comfortable managing his needs in the future.

Terry is looking for home where he can show off his Terrier nose enjoying some lovely walks but then come home to snooze away in a cosy bed.
