More about Theo

Little legged Theo is a gorgeous young boy - we believe he is a cross breed of perhaps a Staffy and a Beagle! He shows breed traits of both these breeds - affectionate and cuddly like a Staffy and loves to follow his nose and explore the wide world like a Beagle! His favourite thing is cuddling up on someone's lap.

Theo was unfortunately found as a stray, so we have limited information on his life before coming into our care. At Battersea, he has shown himself to be quite the character, learning how to open our gates and sitting on tables in our chill out room when he thinks no one is looking! He loves playing with his toys indoors and enjoys exploring our fields outside, and although he finds kennels quite overwhelming at times, he settles very well in our chill out room by himself, with some chill music and ambient lighting.

Theo has shown to be social around other dogs and is generally a friendly chap, though can be unsure of some more animated personalities. He will need a private garden of his own for some house training reminders and ideally would benefit from natural green spaces for his walks, as he does love to put his nose to the ground and follow scents.

If you have already completed our online rehoming form and would like to know more about Theo, you can e-mail our rehoming team on bbh.rehomers@battersea.org.uk to register your interest.

We ask every customer to first complete our online form before we discuss an individual animal, so if you have not filled in our form yet you can find the details on how to do so here https://www.battersea.org.uk/rehoming

Please be aware that we have a large amount of interest in rehoming our animals, so we are only able to contact those that are a match for the dog you have contacted us about.
