More about Tilly

Tilly is a joyful and bouncy Mastiff cross who has a sensitive side, she is based at our Old Windsor Centre.

Tilly enjoys playing with toys with her known handlers. She loves to throw soft toys around and chase after tennis balls. It will take some time for her to come out of her shell due to her worried side but her playful personality shines through when she is comfortable and she enjoys leaning in for fuss and rolling around while playing.

She has shown to be worried of new people during her time here, Tilly has made friends with patience and using treats to continue positive interactions. She can also be noise sensitive so we feel Tilly will need a private and secure garden to provide her a safe space to build her confidence in her new environment. She'll be happier living in a quieter location as she finds road or aeroplane noise frightening.

Tilly likes to greet other dogs but can be a bit conflicted when she's playing. She has shown to be worried around animated dogs she will need ongoing positive socialisation to help her gain confidence around different breeds, their personalities and play styles. Due to her worry, we feel it is best for Tilly to be the only dog in the household at this time.
