More about Toffee

Truly scrumptious Toffee is a dinky little German Shepherd who is practically perfect in every way - a true Shepherd fanatic's dream! She came to us after a change in her owners circumstances and by all accounts, has a wonderful behavioural history.

Toffee can be a little shy when first meeting people but is quick to make friends - especially if food is involved! She loves to play with her toys and enjoys running in our paddocks. Toffee came into our care quite underweight, but has been gaining muscle and weight since coming into our care and her new owners will need to continue to monitor her food amount and exercise to get her into peak physical condition.

Toffee has some good basics in place already and has been a polite and friendly girl with other dogs but can be worried if they are the over zealous types, so could live with a calm and steady companion to build her confidence, pending intros at our Brands Hatch site. She struggled being left in her previous home, so it's very important her new owners are able to take the time to settle her into her new home and work on her separation related behaviours in a sympathetic and positive manner, being around for her for the majority of the time to begin with. Temperament wise, she is a fabulous example of her breed and one not to be missed.
