More about Travis

Say hello to Travis!

This stunningly handsome lurcher boy came to Battersea as a stray, so we have no information on his life before arriving here. He is looking for a new loving family who can put the time and commitment into helping him settle into a home environment. Travis is super affectionate and does the classic 'sighthound lean' against your legs when he wants to be petted.

Travis has demonstrated some under-confident behaviours around other dogs. He is receiving lots of training and confidence building around this onsite, and is showing great improvement. New owners will need to be confident in reading his body language and to continue his training around them. He can be vocal when he sees other dogs on walks, and new owners must be prepared to continue working on this.

Much of the behaviour Travis has shown on site is likely due to kennel stress and has been doing well on foster with other dogs.

Travis is looking to be the only dog in the home, would prefer to live in a quieter location, and will need a private garden.
