More about Venus

Introducing Venus to centre court! Our sensitive soul Venus is now ready to find her forever home. Initially found as a stray, she has come on leaps and bounds in her time at Brands Hatch and been open to new experiences from the basics of learning how to be a youngster, meeting new friends and most of all; enjoying all of the love and attention she can get!

Venus would benefit from a family who can anticipate the time and energy needing to be invested in her further training, as well as have an understanding that a lot of things may be new to her and be able to offer her that empathetic support and guidance through new experiences.

We do not have any history for Venus when it comes to living in a home, but she has shown herself to be an endearing, resilient bright-spark, and so with a supported settling in period, house training and working on leaving her for small periods of time, leading up to longer, she has great potential to thrive.

She really does love the company of people, and is learning to meet and play with other dogs in a calm and respectful way. Venus will need continued training with this, as well as recall, but has shown a keen interest to learn new things which our rehoming team can demonstrate for prospective owners on introduction.

Venus will need her own private garden where she can learn new skills, as well as have a place of her own to take herself to if she wants to relax. We feel that a home with teenagers who have had dogs previously would suit her best.
