Meet Violet, a sweet and sensitive 1-year-old Jack Russell Terrier mix full of potential.

Violet came to Battersea as a stray, so her history is a mystery, but we do know that she's a gentle soul, ready to blossom with the right people by her side. She’s friendly with everyone she meets, though she can be a little shy at first, especially around new faces and dogs! But with time, patience, and a gentle hand, Violet quickly becomes a playful and affectionate companion.

Once she’s comfortable, Violet shows her cheeky side with joyful zoomies and a love for chase games. She enjoys the company of smaller, calmer dogs and is slowly finding her confidence around others. An active home with a garden, quiet walking areas, and owners who understand sensitive or reactive dogs would be ideal for her. She’s young, eager to learn, and full of energy once she feels safe.

Violet is looking for a home where she can grow at her own pace, bond deeply with her people, and continue finding her place in the world. If you have a little time and patience and you’re ready to welcome a loyal and loving companion, Violet might just be the perfect match for you.
