More about Warren

Warren is an inquisitive and affectionate Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross. He loves to play with toys and be the centre of attention with his favourite people. He is based at our Old Windsor site.

Warren enjoys people’s company and gentle fuss. He has shown to be excitable and can jump up for attention. He will need to continue learning calm manners and a gentle approach when greeting people. We feel Warren would benefit from living with older teens and above due to this.

He has been excitable and friendly with other dogs during his time with us. Warren has shown to be eager to say hello to other dogs and is currently working on his socialisation as he can be a bit too excited for other dogs. He was also worried by a large dog off lead, so we have been socialising him with calm and steady dogs to encourage calm interactions and show him the ropes when meeting new doggy friends. Warren is looking to be the only dog in the household while he works on his training.

Warren can sometimes be a little stressed in some different environments, including walking in new areas and during more invasive handling sessions. He will benefit from a private and secure garden to build his confidence in his new home; this will also come in handy for new owners to continue his training and build bonds with Warren while he is settling in.

Warren is a wonderful dog who will take his time settling into his new environment, but once he has, we are sure he will enjoy all the attention and fuss on offer. He loves to be with people and is a fun and affectionate lad.
