More about Agnes

Are you looking for a beautiful wee hen to share your home with? Then look no further than our pint sized Scottish Terrier cross, Agnes! With her magnificent ears and bubbly personality, she truly will be a wonderful companion to almost any home.

Little Agnes was initially found as a stray and was quite underconfident and anxious when she was picked up by the council warden. However, since coming into our care she has flourished and regularly spends time lending a paw in our offices, or meeting some of the other dogs we have residing with us. Agnes could potentially live with another dog pending intros at our Brands Hatch centre - she is generally a friendly little bean but will give warranted and controlled tell offs if another dog is rude or pushy with her.

She has not been housetrained while on site with us, so will need a secure private garden and owners willing to put the time into her training so she learns to toilet outside. She does enjoy having people around and has been a little stressed in her kennel, panting and waiting by the door, so her new family will need to have lower leaving hours, at least initially, to help Agnes settle into her new home and feel secure. Agnes takes treats nicely and enjoys her food, so will be a pleasure to continue training.

If you have already completed our online rehoming form and would like to know more about this scruffy delight, you can e-mail our rehoming team on bbh.rehomers@battersea.org.uk to register your interest.

We ask every customer to first complete our online form before we discuss an individual animal, so if you have not filled in our form yet you can find the details on how to do so here https://www.battersea.org.uk/rehoming

Please be aware that we have a large amount of interest in rehoming our animals, so we are only able to contact those that are a match for the dog you have contacted us about.
