More about Alan

Alan is a loveable, fun Lurcher who enjoys zooming around our secure paddocks here at Battersea Old Windsor.

Alan could possibly live with another dog that is a similar size to him. He enjoys playing with other dogs and he would suit living with a dog that would play with him but also be a good role model.

Alan is doing well with his house training in kennels, but he did come into our care as a stray so we do not know whether he has lived in a home before. He will need his recall training started from scratch as well as learning basic training and getting used to daily routines.

Being a Lurcher, he has shown some chase drive with wildlife so new owners should be mindful where they could let him off lead in the future.

Alan has been friendly with everyone he has met and loves a good fuss.
