More about Betty
Meet our adorable Betty, a girl with a heart almost as big as her body! She is a young Cane Corso mastiff type who loves to clown around, dig in our sand pit and play with her toys. Her unique colouring makes her a real beauty queen who turns heads out and about.
Betty is a larger lady who despite her size, is still a juvenile dog in terms of her behaviours. She loves people and does like to play with other dogs, but can vocal in her play and too much for some dogs. This lovely girl will benefit from owners who understand the mastiff breed and their breed traits and who can physically manage a larger dog and the socialising that comes with them. Betty loves her food, which is helpful for her training! She can understandably be uncomfortable around people if they touch her or interact her while she is eating, so her new owners will need to be sympathetic and savvy to this, ensuring she has designated quiet areas for meal times or if she has a chew.
Betty will need a home with a private garden where she can burn off her energy - bonus if her owners are able to provide with a child's sand pit to play in! She will need easy access to green walking spaces and could live in a home with teenagers.
We ask every customer to first complete our online form before we discuss an individual animal, so if you have not filled in our form yet you can find the details on how to do so here https://www.battersea.org.uk/rehoming
If you have already completed our online rehoming form and would like to know more about our wiggly girl, you can e-mail our rehoming team on bbh.rehomers@battersea.org.uk to register your interest.
Please be aware that we have a large amount of interest in rehoming our animals, so we are only able to contact those that are a match for the dog you have contacted us about.
