Meet the beautiful Bridget!
Bridget is a super sweet and excitable lady who arrived at Battersea as a stray meaning we unfortunately do not have any information about her prior to her stay with us.
Bridget is looking for new owners who have experience dealing with reactive dogs, as Bridget can have a lot to say at times, particularly when she's stressed. Bridget has found the busyness of our London site stressful - she can be quite vocal and pulls when out on walks so is looking for someone confident in training her from the get go!
Underneath her vocal behaviour, she is a social girl with both people and dogs. She enjoys a good run around with other dogs and will enjoy having regular friends outside of the home. We've seen Bridget not want to share food with other dogs so she will need to be the only dog in the home to avoid any potential squabbles. In office spaces, Bridget has shown lovely manners when meeting people, just wanting a fuss, cuddle or a nice relaxing lie down.
As she requires further training around her vocal nature and lead walking skills, she is looking for a home with a private garden. Further, Bridget requires a cat free home, and she can live with teenagers 13+!
With the right loving home and comfy sofa, Bridget will learn to slow her pace and settle down for snuggles. In return, Bridget will provide the best companionship.

Please be aware that we have a large amount of interest in rehoming our animals, so we are only able to contact those that are a match for the dog in question.
Rehoming FAQs
Here at Battersea, we assess all of our dogs individually and create a rehoming profile for them. To ensure successful matches between people and pets, we use a combination of extensive rehoming experience, our staff expertise and the information you provided in your rehoming form. Once you complete your online registration, you’ll receive a confirmation email to let you know that we have everything we need to begin our matchmaking process, as well as the next steps of the process.
This may not always be the dog you thought it would be, which is why we ask that you see the registration form as a way of registering your interest in rehoming, not an application for a specific animal. We’re experts in making sure we find the right home for our dogs and the right dog for your home.

Once you’ve completed our online registration form, we’ll handle the rest. Your rehoming registration will be open for up to three months, and in that time, we’ll do our very best to try and match you with a pet that best suits you and your lifestyle. It can take a bit of time for us to try and match you with a pet – but we promise it’s time well spent. We’re committed to getting to know every animal at our centres before finding a match that works for our dogs and for you wherever possible.
If we are not able to match you with a dog within three months, we’ll let you know and offer guidance to help you continue your search, either at Battersea or beyond.

Our rehoming fee is £230 for dogs (over six months), £350 for a pair of dogs, or £275 for puppies (under six months). We accept cash or debit/credit card as payment (we are unable to accept cheques). Included in this cost are the following:
- Microchipping
- Initial vaccinations, flea and worming treatment
- Neutering
- A collar, identification tag and lead
- Starter pack of food, advice and special offers
- Four weeks’ free Petplan insurance as your dog settles into their new surroundings
Something to bear in mind is that our rehoming fee is just the beginning of the costs involved with owning a dog. We would recommend that before making the decision to rehome, you investigate the costs of pet food, pet insurance, grooming and fees at your local veterinary centre so that you are fully prepared for the financial implications of bringing a dog into your home.
