More about Buddy

Brilliant Buddy is ready to be your best bud! This playful, bright young lad has a heart as big as his love of tennis balls. Buddy enjoys exploring the world with his nose, making other dog friends and, once he knows you, soaking up plenty of gentle fuss. Full of character and charm, he's looking for a family who can help him blossom into the companion we know he can be!

Buddy has lived with children and has a fantastic history of getting on well with other dogs, greeting politely and enjoying a game with suitable friends. He could live with a calm, confident resident dog who can show him the ropes. He loves enrichment, soft toys, fetch and sniffy adventures, and he's a clever boy who already knows some basic training and has a great response when called by his name. Although he can be a little worried by new people or unfamiliar handling at first, he warms up quickly when allowed to go at his own pace and builds strong bonds with those he trusts.

Buddy is looking for a patient, understanding home and new family should ideally be around for much of the day initially, gradually helping him learn that being left alone isn't something to worry about. He would love access to quiet walking spots where he can enjoy lots of adventures and work on his recall skills before enjoying more off-lead fun!
