More about Buddy

Meet Buddy, our gloriously handsome young Rottweiler. This boy oozes laid back charm and is a lovely example of his breed.

Buddy was sadly found wandering the streets as a stray, so we have limited information on his background. However, during his stay with us he has proven himself to be a well rounded boy, polite with people and well mannered around other dogs, saying hello and then becoming quite independent and keeping himself to himself.

This striking looking boy is looking for new owners with lower leaving hours to help him settle into his new environment. Buddy will need some house training so would love his own garden for this, but also as a safe space for him to play and spend time with his new family. Buddy has shown quite a high chase drive with wildlife, so he would be unable to live with cats or small furries and his owners will need to ensure they really invest in his recall before letting him off lead in areas where he may be tempted to gallivant off other animals! Buddy walks really well on the lead and enjoys exploring our fields and woodlands on his walks.

Buddy is an intelligent boy and has some great training foundations in place and already knows a 'sit' cue and a 'paw' cue and he LOVES his food, so has the potential to learn so much more and really excel with obedience training, if his owners wish to invest in this. He could live with teenagers, pending meeting his new family at our Brands Hatch centre.
