More about Chief

Chief is a charming Lurcher who enjoys zooming and exploring at Battersea Old Windsor.

As Chief loves to stretch his legs he would really benefit from off‑lead time in private, secure fields, where he can burn off energy safely and happily.

Chief can sometimes be a little uncomfortable around other dogs so he’s looking for a home where he can be the only dog, allowing him to relax fully and have all the attention to himself. He can sometimes find face to face introductions worrying so he will prefer to walk in quieter areas.

When Chief first arrived, he was worried around people, but he’s made fantastic progress and has grown in confidence with patience. He just needs a little time to get to know new people, and once he does his true character begins to shine through.

Chief would suit an understanding home that can continue building on his confidence, respect his need for space from other dogs, and enjoy his playful bursts of energy.
