Croissant is the sweetest little pastry with plenty of personality! This fluffy, fabulous girl may be a little reserved when you first meet her, but give her time to rise and you'll discover a loyal companion with a playful spirit and a love of exploring. Independent by nature but full of quiet charm, Croissant is looking for a home that will appreciate her unique character!
Croissant loves getting out and about, especially when she can follow her nose and investigate every interesting scent along the way. She enjoys meeting other dogs but can become a little overexcited if play gets too lively, so she's happiest keeping her canine friendships to walks rather than sharing her home. Once she trusts someone, Croissant forms lovely bonds and enjoys spending time with her favourite people, all while showing just how well she communicates when given the space to make her own choices.
Croissant is searching for a calm home with teens and over, where she can be the only pet and enjoy a peaceful routine. A private, secure garden is ideal, as she'll need to stay on lead or a long line when out exploring due to her adventurous nature and love of chasing wildlife. With patient owners who will let her settle at her own pace, provide plenty of enrichment and enjoy quieter walks together, Croissant is sure to blossom into a devoted companion.

Rehoming FAQs
Here at Battersea, we assess all of our dogs individually and create a rehoming profile for them. To ensure successful matches between people and pets, we use a combination of extensive rehoming experience, our staff expertise and the information you provided in your rehoming form. Once you complete your online registration, you’ll receive a confirmation email to let you know that we have everything we need to begin our matchmaking process, as well as the next steps of the process.
This may not always be the dog you thought it would be, which is why we ask that you see the registration form as a way of registering your interest in rehoming, not an application for a specific animal. We’re experts in making sure we find the right home for our dogs and the right dog for your home.

Once you’ve completed our online registration form, we’ll handle the rest. Your rehoming registration will be open for up to three months, and in that time, we’ll do our very best to try and match you with a pet that best suits you and your lifestyle. It can take a bit of time for us to try and match you with a pet – but we promise it’s time well spent. We’re committed to getting to know every animal at our centres before finding a match that works for our dogs and for you wherever possible.
If we are not able to match you with a dog within three months, we’ll let you know and offer guidance to help you continue your search, either at Battersea or beyond.

Our rehoming fee is £230 for dogs (over six months), £350 for a pair of dogs, or £275 for puppies (under six months). We accept cash or debit/credit card as payment (we are unable to accept cheques). Included in this cost are the following:
- Microchipping
- Initial vaccinations, flea and worming treatment
- Neutering
- A collar, identification tag and lead
- Starter pack of food, advice and special offers
- Four weeks’ free Petplan insurance as your dog settles into their new surroundings
Something to bear in mind is that our rehoming fee is just the beginning of the costs involved with owning a dog. We would recommend that before making the decision to rehome, you investigate the costs of pet food, pet insurance, grooming and fees at your local veterinary centre so that you are fully prepared for the financial implications of bringing a dog into your home.
