More about Daisy

Daisy is a gentle Labrador who loves nothing more than pottering around on walks and having lots of fuss and attention. She is located at our Old Windsor site.

She arrived at Battersea through no fault of her own and is a loving dog with a wonderful character.

Daisy has been spending time in a foster home since coming to Old Windsor and has settled well, showing her affectionate side. She has been growing in confidence, getting the zoomies around the house. She's housetrained, loves sunning herself in the garden when the weather permits and enjoys being with the other steady dogs at home.

Daisy has some good training in place and knows a sit and paw. She is building up her fitness and is enjoying slightly longer walks, but this will need to be gradually built on by her new owners to ensure she doesn't do too much too soon. She loves sniffing around on walks and does enjoy being out and about.

In her previous home she was friendly with everyone but could be shy on occasions, especially around men. She would bark at the door, but could make friends quickly with food and then enjoy some fuss.

Daisy is friendly when meeting new dogs and approaches them in a wiggly fashion. She enjoys spending time with calm, independent dogs and is happy to walk along beside them.

She has been following her foster carer around the house and loves attention, she's not demanding but will sometimes give you a little nudge with her nose when she wants a fuss.

Daisy does have some medical needs that any new owner will need to be happy to take on. Anyone interested in Daisy will need to speak to a Battersea vet before rehoming her. She is a truly special dog who deserves a forever home to call her own.
