More about Echo
Echo is a charming and endearing Akita cross Husky who is currently based at our Battersea Old Windsor centre.
Typical of the breed, Echo can be quite aloof when you meet him for the first time but the more you get to know him, the more his more affectionate and loving side will begin to shine through.
Echo is looking to be the only dog in the household at this time as he is still working on his social skills as he can sometimes struggle to read other dogs well and pester them for more interaction.
He does enjoy socialising with other dogs and would benefit from having some friendly and interactive walking buddies of a similar temperament, who can offer him some light play.
Echo can find more formal handling worrying and uncomfortable, more so around being handled around his collar and feet. Echo has occasionally grumbled when being handled in these areas but it has never escalated any further. Echo currently has training in place to help him feel more comfortable around handling which he has been making progress with.
Echo would make a loyal and rewarding companion. If you have already completed our online rehoming form and would like to know more about Echo, you can e-mail our rehoming team on bow.rehomers@battersea.org.uk to register your interest.
We ask every customer to first complete our online form we discuss an individual animal, so if you have not filled in our form yet you can find the details on how to do so here: https://www.battersea.org.uk/rehoming.
Please be aware that we have a large amount of interest in rehoming our animals, so we are only able to contact those that are a match for the dog you have contacted us about.
