More about Edith
Edith at Old Windsor is a bright, bubbly Saluki Cross with a heart full of love and a big personality waiting to shine.
Edith has blossomed during her time with us, showing just how affectionate and playful she can be once she feels bonded with her people. She can find meeting new people – especially men – a little overwhelming and may become a little reactive on walks or in indoor spaces. Her new family will need to support her gently as she continues building confidence at her own pace.
When Edith first arrived, she wasn’t sure how to behave around other dogs, particularly while on lead, and could become vocal or pull towards them. With training and guidance, she has made great progress, but she’ll need her new owners to continue this work. With time and support, Edith can enjoy socialising and interacting appropriately with other dogs once she has made friends. We believe she could live with a steady, playful dog who can match her energy, help her feel secure and show her the ropes in her new home.
Edith is a fun-loving dog who adores toys, whether she’s tossing them about or making them squeak. She’s enthusiastic about her food, enjoys a chew and loves exploring when out on a walk. A splash in a paddling pool is one of her favourite ways to unwind!
With patience, reassurance and continued training, we are sure Edith will make a wonderfully rewarding project dog for a family who love seeing a dog grow and thrive. She has so much personality and charm to offer and is ready to bring joy to the right home.
