Meet our sweet Collie cross Jet.

Jet arrived at Battersea as a gift and through no fault of his own. He has a lovely history in his previous home, sharing his space with his owner and 2 x children. They noted that he was an affectionate boy who loved to cuddle and would give all the household kisses. We have seen the same lovely boy onsite, although a little overwhelmed when first arriving, Jet has since come out of his shell and is a bouncy and excitable lad who loves human attention.

Jet likes other dogs and can greet friendly although can come in a little strong at times. He can also be a little worried and reactive especially on lead. We feel he would prefer to be the only dog in the home with owners who are confident in socialising him in neutral spaces.

Jet has a history of growling over his food bowl, and we have seen elements of this onsite. New owners will need to put in some training around this and confident to manage this from day one, in order to set him up for success! He will require enough mental and physical stimulation to ensure he develops into a well mannered adult.

Jet would like a home away from the inner city with access to his own private garden. Due to being quite worried of new people, handling and having some resource guarding he is best suited in an adults only household. This lovely lad has a heart of gold and a lot of love to give. He will be the most loyal and affectionate of companions in any household lucky enough to have him.
