More about Jonny

Jonny is a loveable dog, greeting everyone with his waggy tail. All toys will be found collected and curled up around him in his bed.

Jonny came into our care as a stray, unfortunately we have no prior knowledge of his experience in a home. New owners will need to give him time to adjust to and find his feet, as it will all be new for him but he has picked up the routine in kennels quickly, so hopefully the same case in a home.

He is very affectionate, enjoying interaction and you will often find staff having a cuddles in his kennel. He is very foodie and responds to a ‘sit’, between food and cuddles it won’t be long before your Jonny's best friend.

Jonny has had long journey with his medical care here at Battersea Old Windsor. Some of which will be on going, new owners will speak to a Battersea Vet before rehoming Jonny. This will be an important factor when considering rehoming Jonny to make sure new owners will be comfortable manging his needs in future.

He would prefer to be the centre of attention in a home; he is mostly friendly with other dogs but likes his own space. Therefore, Jonny is looking to be the only a dog in the home and lap up all the attention.

Jonny has some great basics in place, being housetrained in kennel and got into a good routine with staff. A garden area where he toilet and play with favourite tennis balls would suit Jonny.
