Meet Kaiser, our charming, laid-back lad!
Kaiser is a relaxed, friendly and affectionate boy who has been an absolute pleasure to care for. Although we know very little about his early life, Kaiser has shown himself to be a confident and easy-going character who quickly forms strong bonds with his people and is happy to make friends with new faces.
Kaiser could suit a family who have an understanding of brachycephalic breeds and the additional care they can require. He enjoys gentle pottering walks and having a good sniff, but his exercise needs are naturally more limited. His new family will need to be mindful of warmer weather and make sure he has plenty of opportunities for rest and enrichment.
Kaiser is comfortable around other dogs and could live with another calm, well-matched dog following successful introductions. He may also be able to live with a dog-savvy cat. He can live with sensible primary school-aged children who understand how to respect his space, particularly as he is sensitive around his ears.
A private garden would be ideal for Kaiser, particularly during warmer weather, although this isn't essential provided he has regular opportunities to get outside.
Kaiser is a wonderfully easy-going boy who is happy to potter about, spend time with his people and enjoy life at his own pace. He would make a lovely companion for a family looking for a gentle and affectionate dog.

Rehoming FAQs
Here at Battersea, we assess all of our dogs individually and create a rehoming profile for them. To ensure successful matches between people and pets, we use a combination of extensive rehoming experience, our staff expertise and the information you provided in your rehoming form. Once you complete your online registration, you’ll receive a confirmation email to let you know that we have everything we need to begin our matchmaking process, as well as the next steps of the process.
This may not always be the dog you thought it would be, which is why we ask that you see the registration form as a way of registering your interest in rehoming, not an application for a specific animal. We’re experts in making sure we find the right home for our dogs and the right dog for your home.

Once you’ve completed our online registration form, we’ll handle the rest. Your rehoming registration will be open for up to three months, and in that time, we’ll do our very best to try and match you with a pet that best suits you and your lifestyle. It can take a bit of time for us to try and match you with a pet – but we promise it’s time well spent. We’re committed to getting to know every animal at our centres before finding a match that works for our dogs and for you wherever possible.
If we are not able to match you with a dog within three months, we’ll let you know and offer guidance to help you continue your search, either at Battersea or beyond.

Our rehoming fee is £230 for dogs (over six months), £350 for a pair of dogs, or £275 for puppies (under six months). We accept cash or debit/credit card as payment (we are unable to accept cheques). Included in this cost are the following:
- Microchipping
- Initial vaccinations, flea and worming treatment
- Neutering
- A collar, identification tag and lead
- Starter pack of food, advice and special offers
- Four weeks’ free Petplan insurance as your dog settles into their new surroundings
Something to bear in mind is that our rehoming fee is just the beginning of the costs involved with owning a dog. We would recommend that before making the decision to rehome, you investigate the costs of pet food, pet insurance, grooming and fees at your local veterinary centre so that you are fully prepared for the financial implications of bringing a dog into your home.
