More about Maple
Dinky little Maple is a snuggly and cheeky little puppy! We believe she is a lurcher - possibly a whippet terrier mix and anticipate she will grow to be a medium to large dog. We aren't too sure of Maple's start in life, as she was brought into our care with her litter mates after being left to live in a stable on a livery yard.
Maple has got a slightly shy side to her, but given time she is quick to come out of her shell and will actively snuggle into you for a cuddle, pushing her little head into your neck and resting her adorable tiny head on your shoulder! Maple loves her food and toys and has shown to be quite the cheeky monkey with her siblings, grumbling at them if they look at her while she is eating or approach her when she has her toy! She could live with older sensible children who understand she might need a slow and quiet approach, pending intros at our Brands Hatch site.
She may do well living with a calm, mature and well rounded dog who can act as a role model for her and we can introduce any potential canine companion to her at our centre. Being so young, Maple will need her own private garden for her house training and she needs dedicated new owners who understand all of the training and socialising a pup of her age needs, and be able to provide this to her.
We ask every customer to first complete our online form before we discuss an individual animal, so if you have not filled in our form yet you can find the details on how to do so here: https://www.battersea.org.uk/rehoming. We cannot discuss dogs with interested parties until this step has been completed.
If you have already completed our online rehoming form and would like to know more about little Maple, you can e-mail our rehoming team on bbh.rehomers@battersea.org.uk to register your interest.
Please be aware that we have a large amount of interest in rehoming our animals, so we will only be able to contact those that who could be a match for the dog you have contacted us about.
