More about MISSY

Meet Missy our 8 year old Staffy Lady,

Missy came to Battersea as unfortunately her family's circumstances changed and they were no longer able to look after her.

Missy has a lovely history in her previous home; friendly around all known and unknown people and children, she has lived with a dog previously and was quite housetrained.

Here onsite she has reflected what we have been told about her in her previous home, friendly with people but slightly uncomfortable around dogs in her onsite assessments. She seems a little more worried by dogs than previously stated, being more independent now in her maturity.

Missy is looking for her forever home to see out the rest of her days, with a nice warm bed to curl up in. She is used to a private garden, she would thrive in a new home where her new owners might have older children if any and have enough time to dedicate to a few short walks a day, a home in a quieter location where her new owners don't leave her alone for too long as she gets a lot out of her people before they staggered time alone gradually.

It would be beneficial for Missy's new owner/s to have some breed experience, although this is not essential. New owners should have some dog experience though, so they can advocate for her in certain situations.

Missy needs all the cuddles her new owners want to give her, as they will never be enough and she will always ask for more.

If you think that beautiful Missy might just be the companion you are searching for, then please contact the Rehoming team in London ASAP at rehoming@battersea.org.uk, providing an overview of your previous experience with dogs, current set up and how you can meet her needs.

If you have not registered yet, please do so on the Battersea website https://www.battersea.org.uk/rehoming before getting in touch.
