More about Nelson

Say hello to handsome Nelson!

Nelson is a young, loving bulldog who found his way into a local council as a stray and has shown nothing but enthusiasm for life since coming into our care.

He was described as friendly, playful and excitable, and that absolutely shines through once you get to know him. Like many young dogs, Nelson has found kennel life a little overwhelming but with time and routine he has made great progress and continues to improve every day!

Once he’s out enjoying his walks or having a run around the paddocks, his happy, energetic personality really comes to life. Nelson loves to play, explore and burn off his energy, and would benefit from a home that can offer him this lifestyle as well.

With other dogs, Nelson has shown to be quite social and can be very playful with the right match. He does prefer calmer, more well mannered dogs who aren’t too boisterous and who will happily play but also respect his space. We believe Nelson could live with another steady, friendly dog who can act as a good role model and help build his confidence.

As a brachycephalic breed, Nelson will need a home with his own private garden, allowing him safe access to fresh air and exercise at his own pace. With the right home, Nelson will make a brilliant, affectionate dog friend and is ready to bring lots of fun and character to his future family.
